WOPELS is a collaborative Wall of Pixels where you can buy or rent digital pixels, link them to your website or project and become part of a shared online mural.
WOPELS (Wall Of Pixels for friends) is a digital canvas divided into thousands of tiny squares: the pixels. Each pixel can be bought or rented by users and linked to an external website, social profile, online shop, portfolio or any project they want to promote.
The idea is simple: instead of a static image, this Wall of Pixels is alive and constantly changing. New users join, brands occupy areas, communities reserve spaces and the wall slowly becomes a giant map of projects, businesses and creative ideas.
Every pixel you own is a tiny piece of real estate on this digital mural. You decide what color it has, where it links to and how long you keep it.
From the main page you can move around the wall, zoom in and out and click on any pixel to see who owns it, its color, and the link or information associated with it. Free pixels or available rentals are also highlighted so it is easy to find a place for your project.
To buy, rent or manage pixels you need to create an account with a valid email address. Once logged in, you will be able to open your profile, see your balance and review the pixels you own.
Use the shop panel to choose between permanent pixels or rented pixels. You can select a single pixel or a group, see the price per pixel, the total cost and the rental duration if applicable. Before confirming, a summary modal shows all the details of your purchase.
Once the pixels are yours, you can define their color and the external link you want to attach (for example your website, online store, YouTube channel, portfolio, etc.). You can update this information later as long as you keep control over those pixels.
You can share a direct link to your pixel or group of pixels so that other people land exactly on your area of the wall. There is also a directory section on the main page where projects and brands with pixels can be highlighted, making it easier for visitors to discover interesting links.
Some pixels may be interesting for other users. WOPELS allows you to send offers to current owners. If they accept, the pixels are transferred and the transaction appears in the offers history. This creates a small secondary market of digital real estate on the wall.
Each pixel or group of pixels can include a link to your website. As the project grows, the wall becomes a public hub of links and references that can help search engines discover new pages and improve indexing. No specific ranking is guaranteed, but it can complement your online presence.
